Youth Leadership Board Member Oliva Nalwadda and YOURS - Youth for Road Safety Advocacy Director Stefania Minniti took part in the Global Road Safety Leadership Course in Baltimore at the Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit. The Course builds leadership capacity to design, advocate for, and implement effective road safety programs and policies. Each offering includes, among others, modules on road safety management, safer roads and mobility, safer vehicles, safer road users, post-crash response, and road safety policy and advocacy.

According to Johns Hopkins, the Course provides enrollees with active engagement among a wide variety of international participants from different settings and backgrounds, including government and civil society. Programmes included will be delivered through a diverse, experienced international faculty that aims to challenge and inspire participants.

Oliva and Stefania were part of sixty leaders from sixty different countries who were enrolled.
