[External Opportunities: Funding] Cities for Youth Innovation Challenge
Safetipin has launched the Cities for Youth (CfY) Innovation Challenge, an open call for impactful spatial interventions across cities in Rajasthan.
Supported by Fondation Botnar under the global Fit4Future initiative, the CfY programme empowers young people to actively shape urban life. The challenge invites individuals and groups to propose creative, community-centred, and tangible physical modifications to public spaces that enhance safety, mobility, and belonging — especially for young women and girls.
Key details of the challenge:
- Open to: Individuals under 35 years / Groups of up to four members/NGOs/NPOs across India
- Project location: Any city in Rajasthan
- Funding support: Up to ₹3,00,000 per selected project
- Project duration: 6 months
- Application deadline: 2 June 2026
Selected teams will also receive professional mentorship from urban specialists and opportunities to showcase their work to city stakeholders.
