DRIVE TO STAY ALIVE
by Christian Ntsiful Anderson FROM GHANA
The project “Drive Safe to Stay Alive” looks to mobilize young people across Universities in Ghana to take part in the conversation on road safety and sustainable mobility. It will create a campaign that focuses on creating better road infrastructure in the community which includes; the donation of road signs, enhancement of community engagement, collaboration with stakeholders for reforms in policies, and training for better post-crash response systems.
The project will use existing media partnerships by the lead organization, the University Students Association of Ghana (USAG), to enhance the visibility of the campaign and track its progress. The project has the potential to engage around 80,000 university students and staff so that they take part in the USAG Road Safety Campaign; Drive to Save Lives.
