[External Opportunities: Lab Grants] AU-EU Youth Action Lab

The AU-EU Youth Action Lab has opened its final call for proposals, offering two funding opportunities for youth-led organisations in 12 African countries. Both grants provide 12 months of funding, from January to December 2027, and are designed to support youth-led solutions, organisational development and meaningful change.

Innovation Grants – €42,000

For organisations developing, testing, adapting or scaling innovative approaches to global challenges, with potential for lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

Entrepreneurship Grants – €31,500

For youth-led organisations working to create a more enabling environment for young entrepreneurs, particularly through advocacy addressing the barriers they face when starting and growing businesses. Deadline: 23 September 2026, 13:00 Central African Time.

Eligible organisations must be formally registered and youth-led, with activities taking place in one of the 12 eligible countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia (Somaliland region), Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia or Zimbabwe. Only one grant opportunity can be applied for per organisation.
