[External Opportunity: Interactive Session] Making Climate Science Make Sense: Youth–Expert Dialogues Series

YOUNGO is pleased to invite you to join the second session of the Making Climate Science Make Sense: Youth–Expert Dialogues Series, organised by the YOUNGO Science Working Group.

This interactive dialogue series creates a space where children and young people can engage directly with leading experts to better understand climate science, its real-world impacts, and how it connects to adaptation, vulnerability, and decision-making. The aim is to make complex scientific discussions accessible, meaningful, and youth-centered.

For this session, YOUNGO is honoured to welcome Prof. Bart van den Hurk, IPCC Working Group II Co-Chair in the 7th Assessment Cycle and Director of Research at Deltares.

Rather than a lecture, the session will be structured as a guided and interactive dialogue. Young participants will have the opportunity to shape the discussion through questions and reflections, exploring how climate science can inform community planning, advocacy, and action — even in the face of uncertainty.
