The Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety is hosting an online event for International Youth Day on August 13 at 3 pm CET with the theme “No more youth tokenism!”.  The session will have speakers from different sectors talk about youth participation and what they are doing to ensure this.

It will also feature young people from around the world who will share their experiences doing both local and global work to show the importance of meaningfully engaging with youth.

Apart from important and poignant discussions, the session will also highlight the role of art in fighting tokenism, promoting meaningful youth engagement, and getting more young people involved in road safety through artists from Youth Arts Movement Uganda.
