For many participants, the programme was not just a professional experience; it was a turning point. Thanks to the Regional Trainers’ leadership, the ToT Programme not only transferred knowledge but also sparked collaboration. Sessions were translated, adapted, and localised to reflect each region’s culture and realities, creating a learning space where every voice counted.

Before that, I used to run online programs without a proper structure. However, after this program, I have learned a lot, and it has led me to become more skilled as I continue to practice more during localised sessions. I find myself becoming an expert. “Participating in this program allowed me to gain valuable professional experience that strengthened my CV and gave me credibility as a young leader and trainer in road safety, so now I am confident to train and advocate more about road safety. Through the localised sessions, I improved my public speaking and presentation skills, and I broke the ice since I am a shy person. It also helped me feel more connected to the Coalition community, as I learned from other youth leaders and got inspired by the YOURS team, that continue to inspire my work in Jordan and UAE, and hopefully this program will open closed doors for me in my career path. Since I am looking for a full time job now.”
As YOURS and the Global Youth Coalition continue enabling youth to shape safer and more sustainable mobility systems, the achievements of this ToT cohort stand as a reminder that change begins when young people take the lead.
