You are invited! Join our next CapDev Live session on an “Intro to Project Management”

As you know, learning comes in a couple of different formats at the Youth Coalition; we have the self-paced YOURS Academy online and our online Live Sessions together - not to mention our in-person training sessions (but we’ll save that for info for another time).

This April, we’re launching our first live session for 2023. Are you ready to join us for our next Capacity Development Live Session? We know you are! That’s why we're inviting you to join us as we jump into the next session on project management happening on Wednesday, 12 April at 3 PM CET.

So, how did we decide on our first session of the year? Well, we start each year with a needs assessment and many of you noted that one of our previous sessions is one you are keen to learn about. So, we’re bringing back our Capacity Development session that took place in 2022 on project management.

If you joined it last year and want to look back on some of the concepts or are learning for the first time, we’re ready for you! This session is packaged to hone and train young leaders like yourself and broaden your knowledge of the key concepts of project management. You will be in a much better position to mobilize, organize, lead, and deliver effective projects in road safety and beyond.

If you’re looking to undertake a project or are already doing it in your respective communities, this is an opportunity to understand further understand the differences between goals, objectives, and activities using practical group exercises and the project management phases all in an interactive, fun, and community spirit workshop! As always, you will hear practical examples from seasoned professionals too.

By end of the session, you will be able to;

  1. explain what a project is and what project management is all about

  2. identify the differences between goals, objectives, and activities

  3. understand how to build S.M.A.R.T. objectives, and

  4. understand the different project management phases.

Do these learning objectives excite you? If your answer is YES, make sure you sign up to attend our latest capacity development session on Wednesday, 12 April at 3 PM CET. See you there!
