The Community Connect project is centered around community mobilisation, advocacy, and awareness.
The project’s approach involves educating young people on road safety issues, fostering citisen awareness to improve road infrastructure, and collaborating with various stakeholders to systematically address road-related challenges.
Project actions include conducting workshops to empower 400 youth as advocates for road safety, initiating a petition with a target of 500 signatures to reduce resolution time for pothole-related issues, and engaging in consultations with stakeholders to advocate for policy changes aimed at resolving road safety issues within specified timeframes.

ABOUT THE PROJECT LEAD
Pankhuri holds a bachelor's degree in computer science. She has been involved with civic work for the last 5 years, started as a Fellow of the Community Connect Fellowship (CCF) in 2018, and is currently the Co-Lead for the Community Connect vertical at the Blue Ribbon Movement. She believes that building active citizen power is necessary for the development of a sustainable & robust city, and that youth are the ones who can make this happen. Her interest lies in facilitation and personal finances.
