CONNECT THE DOTS AND SAVE A LIFE

BY Mary Abungu

The ‘Connect the Dots, Save a Life’ project focuses on improving the collection, analysis, and dissemination of road safety data in collaboration with relevant agencies and stakeholders.

In Kenya, road safety data management is often fragmented across multiple agencies and stakeholders, leading to duplication of efforts, inconsistencies in reporting, and challenges in data sharing and coordination. Accurate, reliable, sufficient, and accessible road safety data is crucial for effective policies, strategies, and funding for road safety issues.

This project understands aims to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders so as to enhance road safety data collection infrastructure and systems and improve reporting mechanisms and documentation processes that influence policies, strategies and funding across all relevant sectors.

The team behind the project is determined to make a significant impact in reducing road crashes and promoting safer travel for everyone in our cities and communities.
