DATA FOR RESILIENT ROADS

by Valeria Belén Cerpa Salas from peru

The project "Data for Resilient Roads” looks to develop a web tool that allows the visualization of interactive maps, dashboards, and statistical information to ensure the resilience of roads in the city of Arequipa.

The maps and dashboards will be based on selected avenues and roads in the city that were established under previous research and participatory workshops carried out in collaboration with partner organizations and stakeholders. The web tool will be completed through mapping and data analysis of these areas.

The project will work under the axes of road crash risks, traffic points, and citizen insecurity. The results will be presented to stakeholders which include civil society in a closing event in the city of Arequipa as part of an awareness campaign for the resilience of roads in Arequipa, Peru.
