What is the World Youth Assembly?

The World Youth Assembly for Road Safety is a global event organised every five years led by youth, for youth, demanding action on the world’s deadliest public health crisis: road crashes. It is the official youth-focused arm of the Global Ministerial Conferences on Road Safety.

In 2025, the 3rd World Youth Assembly took place in Marrakech, Morocco, bringing together 150+ young leaders from 49 countries for two days of advocacy, networking, learning, art, and action. Delegates co-created solutions, led workshops, launched campaigns, and delivered the Global Youth Statement 2025, a bold declaration demanding safer, more inclusive, and sustainable mobility systems.
