The SDG Champions are a selected group of young leaders responsible for upholding the road safety agenda in connection with other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They participate in international and national advocacy events to talk about their SDG of expertise, linking it with road safety and sustainable mobility.
Our SDG Champions are also tasked to develop policy papers linking road safety with the Global Goals while broadcasting how road safety serves as an accelerator of the broader Sustainable Development Agenda. They act as ambassadors of SDGs and road safety to promote the youth's power and engagement in public policies that affect their lives and rights.
We also have policy briefs available that establish and discuss the linkages road safety has with some of the Global Goals and how it will help achieve the targets within the 2030 Agenda. You can access them below;
Currently, our SDG Champions cover six goals. Scroll down below to meet our champions!
