For the 6th UN Global Road Safety Week (UNGRSW), the Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety will hold a capacity development session on Advocating for 30 km/h streets to provide members with information on the importance of low-speed streets where people and traffic are free to mix.

The 6th UNGRSW has the strapline Streets for Life: #Love30 km/h (#Love20 mp/h).

Through a creative and interactive online session, Coalition members will strengthen their knowledge on the risks of speeding and the benefits of 30 km/h speed limits. The members will also be invited to join and support global activities for the Week and also how they can advocate for low-speed streets at a local level.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to identify why speeding is a significant risk factor in road safety, explain the benefits of why 30 km/h speed limits create streets for life, and layout an action plan on how to advocate for 30 km/h speed limits.
