1. Where are you connected right now? Tell us about the work you're doing.
I am working in Mali where my team and I work to reduce road deaths through programs that help train students and young people on road safety awareness and on the importance of implementing 30 km/h speed limits in front of schools, churches, mosques, markets, hospitals, and other public and crowded places.

2. How did you first get involved in road safety and how long have you been working in the road safety and sustainable mobility field?
We started working in road safety in 2015.

3. Can you tell us a little about your area's road safety and sustainable mobility situation?
In Mali, we come close to two dead and 38 injured per day following road crashes. In these cases, 60% of the victims use two-wheeled vehicles such as bicycles and motorcycles. Nearly 50% of them were young people.

4. Why do you think including young people in local and global road safety efforts is important?

It is essential to involve young people in the fight against road crashes because young people are the most vulnerable when it comes to them. By involving young people in the fight against road crashes, we can achieve zero deaths by 2030.

5. Why did you join the Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety?
I joined the Coalition to bring my contributions to the fight against road crashes in my country and to eventually address the issue globally.

6. What are your comments on the Youth Coalition? Its activities? Its opportunities?
I would like the Youth Coalition to carry out its activities in all the countries where there is a member. This can be done by supporting members and their projects materially and financially provided that these projects help reduce deaths and injuries caused by road crashes, especially among young people.

7. Any messages for people who have not yet joined the Youth Coalition?
I invite young people from around the world, especially from Africa, to join the Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety. Together we will win the battle against road crashes.
